Jack Wilshere believes Inter Milan will go on to win the Champions League after eliminating Barcelona in the semi-finals.

Inter Milan edged past Barca 7-6 on aggregate, while Paris Saint-Germain crushed Arsenal 3-1 to set up a final where they will meet at the Allianz Arena on May 31. PSG,

who won the Ligue 1 title and earlier knocked out Liverpool and Aston Villa, are favourites. But they have never won the trophy, the closest they came was in 2020 when they lost 1-0 to Bayern in the final in Portugal.

Inter have three European champions, the most recent being in 2010 under Jose Mourinho. Their most recent final was two years ago when they lost to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Asked about the final, Wilshere told โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที Sports : “I’ll go with Inter. I don’t see how they can lose in a final.”

Owen Hargreaves, however, disagrees. He believes PSG will finally win their first trophy.

Hargreaves said: “I’d go with PSG, but many times the teams with less possession win these games and that’s Inter. But I’d still go with PSG. I feel like this is their time. PSG will dominate and Inter will wait to counter-attack like they did against Barca. Both teams are ready, for sure.”

Hargreaves also spoke about PSG’s development after knocking out Arsenal: “I can’t think of a team that has changed so much. They have let their superstars go and become a real team, focusing on the young French players. The fans feel connected to this group of players. PSG are a real team now and deserve to be in the final.”

Arsenal were disappointed again, failing to win a trophy in the last five seasons.

Wilshere spoke about his former team: “We didn’t play badly, in parts we were better, but PSG had the quality to punish us every time we lost. So it’s a very painful defeat, but if you look at the history of the teams that have reached the final, most of them have failed before.”
