“I have experienced the greatest success of my career here and I still feel the hunger in the team. Despite having just finished an extraordinary season.” Andrich told the official website Bayer Leverkusen

“I am personally very happy to continue this journey together in the coming year and I will give everything for my teammates. For this special club and above all for the fans.”

The good news was announced ahead of the German Super Cup clash between the ‘ Pharmacies ‘ and Stuttgart, last season’s Bundesliga runners-up.

Andrich joined Leverkusen in 2021 from Union Berlin and like most players at Die Werkself. His performances were good but not great until Xabi Alonso came along. At the start of last season, Andrich’s role was mainly on the bench. But as the season went on he earned more starts and became crucial for Leverkusen as he scored key goals throughout the season.
